Overview of activated carbon

Activated carbon is a carbon material with high specific surface area, high porosity and high adsorption performance. It is usually obtained by high- temperature carbonization and activation of carbon raw materials. Preparation process

(1) Coal-based activated carbon preparation process:

01 Raw material preparation

03 Activation

04 Post-treatment
After washing, drying and other post- treatment processes, the finished coal-based activatedcarbon is obtained

(II) Process flow of wood activated carbon preparation:

Using coconut shell, fruit shell (core) or washed coal as raw materials, after crushing and grinding, a porous structure is formed through steam activation or secondary activation (high temperature oxidation); then multi-stage impurity removal (including sand removal, sorting, pickling, washing) and screening treatment are carried out to remove impurities and unqualified particles; after drying, secondary crushing and fine screening, the finished products are packaged according to particle size to ensure that the products meet different application requirements.
