The processing technology of gypsum powder
The process flow of gypsum powder mainly includes four steps: crushing, grinding, grading, and powder collection.
The first stage is fragmentation. The large gypsum blocks are crushed by a crusher to a feed fineness that can enter the grinding machine, usually between 15 millimeters and 50 millimeters.
The second stage is grinding powder. The crushed small pieces of gypsum are sent to the silo through a hoist, and then through a vibrating feeder, the gypsum is evenly and quantitatively fed into the grinding chamber of the powder mill for grinding. The function of a grinder is to grind gypsum into fine powder.
The third stage is grading. The gypsum powder after grinding is graded by a powder selection machine. The powder selection machine classifies the powder based on its particle size. Unqualified powder will be graded and returned to the main grinding machine for re grinding.
The fourth stage is powder gathering. The gypsum powder with the required fineness enters the dust collector with the airflow for separation and collection. The collected finished powder will be sent to the finished product silo through the discharge port by the conveying device. Finally, finished powder can be packaged using a powder tanker or an automatic packaging machine.
This is the process flow of gypsum powder. Through this series of steps, gypsum ore can be processed into fine gypsum powder for application in different fields.
