Four Recycling Directions of Lithium-Containing Waste
1. Overhaul Slag
It comes from waste cathode carbon blocks generated during the overhaul of electrolytic aluminum cells. Recycling it can solve the problem of hazardous waste disposal and recover components such as fluorine and carbon.
2. Waste Electrolyte
It is the waste electrolyte replaced during electrolytic aluminum production, with a lithium content of 1%-3%. Recycling it can reduce the risk of fluoride solid waste accumulation.
3. Carbon Slag
It is the residue produced in the electrolytic aluminum process, entraining electrolyte with a lithium content of 0.5%-1.5%. After treatment, components such as lithium and metallic aluminum can be recovered.
4. Lithium-Containing Waste Glass
It comes from the leftover materials of consumer electronics screens (e.g., mobile phones) and lithium-containing glass components disassembled from scrapped equipment, with a lithium oxide content of 1%-4%.
