Common faults during the use of vertical mills
Vertical mill is a commonly used equipment in the industrial powder industry, suitable for grinding non-metallic minerals, coal powder, and slag. It has the advantages of large production capacity, high efficiency, and easy maintenance.
However, due to working conditions and usage habits, vertical mills may occasionally malfunction, and common problems include:
1. System air leakage. The main reason is that the sealing of the vertical mill body is not tight and the three air lock valves leak, resulting in low system outlet temperature and small pressure difference.
2. When the ash accumulation in the hot air pipeline exceeds 2/3, the grinding temperature and pressure are low, and the material is not dried in a timely manner.
3. The impact of nozzle ring wear. To ensure the wind speed of the nozzle ring during operation, it is necessary to increase the opening of the front air valve of the fan to increase the air volume.
4. The wind speed between the ash hopper of the powder concentrator and the lower cone is too low.
5. The taper of the powder selection room is not very reasonable. Due to the unreasonable taper of the powder selection room, the negative pressure and wind speed in the height direction of the powder selection area are inconsistent, resulting in inconsistent air drag force and a decrease in powder selection quality and production. At the same rotor speed, coarse particles can also enter the finished product in areas with high air drag force, while fine particles cannot enter the finished product in areas with low air drag force.
